About Online Giving
Who is your donation provider?
We use Planning Center Giving for all online and text donations. PC Giving uses Stripe (a leading payment processor) to process and store all sensitive information.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes. The first time you give with PC Giving, you will be prompted to enter your card and/or bank account information. The second time you give, you will only need to log into the app and you can give with a few clicks.
Is my card / account information stored?
The information you enter is securely stored through Stripe (a leading online payment provider). No bank account or Credit Card information is stored on Bethany servers. We don’t store that information.
Can I pay the fee for my donation?
Yes! Before giving a donation you will see a little checkbox indicating how much the fee for the donation will be. If you check the box, your total donation will be increased to include the fee. Thank you for considering this option. (And also consider giving through ACH which is a flat 25 cent fee per transaction.)
What is ACH?
ACH stands for Automated Clearing House which provides a way to donate online without the use of credit or debit cards. This is a bank-to-bank transaction. If you link your bank account to PC Giving and chose “ACH” when donating, the fee for your gift (no matter how large) is only 25 cents. This will allow Bethany to receive more of the money you donate to use in sharing the Gospel.
How do I give online?
You can give online by going to www.bethany.info and clicking on the giving block.
Can I text to give?
Yes! You can also text to give by sending a dollar amount to “84321.” Select “Bethany Church” and then you’ll be prompted to link your bank account or card information. Save the 5 Digit Number in your phone as “Bethany Text Giving” and the next time you want to give just send a dollar amount to “84321”. This is the fastest way to give and it’s totally secure.
Can I set up a recurring donation?
Absolutely! You’ll see this option when you log in. Set it and forget it! (We strongly encourage you to give through ACH for all reoccurring donations.)
What other ways can I give?
As always, you can give with cash or check using an envelope (found in the seat back) any Sunday morning.
Are online donations to Bethany Church tax-deductible?
Yes. All donations given online or in person at tax-deductible. You will receive a yearly giving statement in January for your information and tax purposes.
Three Ways To Give
Online
You can give online anytime by visiting this link. This is a secure site. Your account number is not stored on our servers.
You can make a one-time donation using a debit or credit card or ACH (bank-to-bank) transfer.
With an account you can also set up a reoccuring gift, so you don’t have to worry about remembering to give each month.
Text Message
The fastest way to give is by sending a text message! Just send any amount with the dollar sign ($) to “84321”. If it’s your first time, you’ll be prompted to set up your account through a couple of texts. It will take about 2 minutes. After you’re set up, save the number to your contacts as “Bethany Text Giving”. The next time you want to give, simply send a text with an amount ($50) and your donation will be automatically drafted from your checking account. That’s cool!
Cash or Check
During all of our worship experiences, we give our regular attenders the opportunity to give back to God a portion of what He’s given us. If you’d like to give with cash or check, simply place it in the offering envelope (there’s some in the seat back pockets), fill out your information and drop it in one of the offering boxes on your way out.
